This must be my first ever cup of chamomile tea. Usually my office pantry stocks a variety of Twinings teas, ranging from green tea, to chamomile to Lemon and more... I, being a complete green tea drinker, usually never land up trying any of the other varieties. But since I had bit of stomach upset this morning , it suddenly dawned on me, I need something milder and little more soothing than a green tea or a coffee. After having 3 cups of chamomile one after the other, I still feel so light on my stomach and so calm in my head. It's been long since I have penned down any   reviews about the restaurants I've visited recently  . Recently I was smitten by just a look of it, the colonial Bistro café, located in soi 5 in the Sathorn district of Bangkok , with its impeccable decor, which looked like a little cozy private French Bungalow from the outside.   Designed as per French aesthetics, the restaurant is a small chic and classy den, with white washed walls and white lacquered chairs & tables laid across.     The place is spread across a floor. The ground floor,  being a small little cafe with 2 tables and half- rounded cozy rattan chairs. And then upstairs, on the first floor is the dining area, which looks very chic and sophisticated. Taking true advantage of 1 st May- Labour day, I decided to venture out with my hubby . So, as usual ; feeling lazy to travel; we decided to explore a close-by restaurant by the name of Bel pesto Italian, as it sound, the logo has an Italian flag with a black tag with the name . How cool and Italian is that? The restaurant had a vintage and vibrant feel to it.  The lower level boasted white washed walls with brown wooden chairs and tables; sans upholstery giving it a very homey and hip feel. All the vintage pieces of art really added a charm to the place, like an old age Radio set , a wired telephone with an art book kept besides.
