NARZ _ Sonkran Experince

Image
It was my first and much awaited Sonkran experience in Bangkok.  We entered the huge acre of land with gleaming lights from everywhere. On entering we were immediately drained by water from a group of American punks.  There was a huge hollow filled with tons and tons of foam, and a foam pipe overhead pouring even more foam. While we bathed in the foam, the DJ kept the mood goingwhile spinning some of the latest hip hop numbers. After be swathed for an hour or so, we decided to look around. To our surprise the place was massive. The plush 2 floored disc was gleaming with LED lights and the gloomy swanky ambiance was very inviting. You could probably also pull off a great romantic evening. I went further on to explore the place.  The place was dissected into three crazy sections. ‘The Narcissus’ was the section playing great trance with dark black couches and tall black bar stools, the place spelled splendor when flashed with blue, red and golden laser lights ...

Winter Makeup

Image
Winter is the season to go very light on make up; you don’t want your skin to look patchy. Do you?     Dry skin just can’t carry off a foundation or a cake, while on the other side a compact will just make your skin look powdery and you the girl version of Robert Patterson (Twilight star). While you add layers of clothes on your body make sure you shed those layers of makeup. That’s the key thing this season. The skin gets very dry and flaky. This season nude look is in. Flawless skin and little mascara, darker lips and a moisturizer completes this look. It doesn't get much simpler than this! A moisturizer and a body shop lip balm can be your handbag essentials. Try Oil moisturizers, they are greasy but still effective. For example almond oil followed up by a nice facial steam. Bingo! You have the glow and the supple skin. Cream moisturizers are usually white and penetrate into the skin when applied without leaving a greasy feel. As a result t...

African Cats

Image
I happen to watch this strikingly brilliant movie the other night with my husband. Which started as a demonstration session, as we wanted to examine our newly gifted home theatre system eventually ended up in a jaw- dropping episode, which of course was least expected. All credits goes to the brilliant movie- African cats. Many people as I assume mustn’t have heard of it nor seen it. I also happen to stumble across it very randomly on movie torrent. So there we began. The greatest movie ever made on wild life. It started like any other documentaries on wild, but slowly it knead to a beautiful story with suitable sketched out characters, real emotions, real drama, jaw-dropping scenes so beautifully captured.  The mere portrayal of such real emotions, which till today seemed like a cat and mouse hunt game, brought out a lot more that goes on in the wild. This Disney nature production made an indeed marvel piece of work.  An incredibly- true story revolving around two...

My new found love!

Image
My new found love! I went on a buffet, yes a humongous beauty buffet. That’s what it’s called. In the land of beauty- Bangkok there is a store which lays a great buffet of beauty products, and that’s what I splurged into. The beauty buffet has brands ranging from Gino McRay, the Bakery, Scentio, Lansley etc. It’s a beauty platter, where you land up being in a fix or rather to pick most of the items displayed. But I splurged onto one for now. Watching an array of beauty products there it was, the McRay beauty lip balm that reflected right on. The translucent pink-purple packaging was the eye- catcher. I went right there for it. If packaging makes a difference, then here it is. There were two sorts of lip balms from McRay, one was ‘Pink Passion sweet and sexy lip balm’ and the other was ‘Pink Passion sweet honey lip balm.’ Since I had ...
