Winter Makeup
Winter is the season to go very light on make up; you don’t want your skin to look patchy. Do you? Dry skin just can’t carry off a foundation or a cake, while on the other side a compact will just make your skin look powdery and you the girl version of Robert Patterson (Twilight star). While you add layers of clothes on your body make sure you shed those layers of makeup. That’s the key thing this season. The skin gets very dry and flaky.
This season nude look is in. Flawless skin and little mascara, darker lips and a moisturizer completes
this look. It doesn't get much simpler than this! A moisturizer and a body shop
lip balm can be your handbag essentials.
Try Oil moisturizers, they are greasy but still
effective. For example almond oil followed up by a nice facial steam. Bingo!
You have the glow and the supple skin.
Cream moisturizers are usually white and penetrate
into the skin when applied without leaving a greasy feel. As a result they tend
to be more popular.
The basics like moisturizer and lip balm is a must. But why
not be a girl girl and go a little beyond. This is the makeup you can don this
season.
The nude look:

If you have blemishes on your skin, mineral makeup is good.
Follow it by a good 2 layers of mascara and a lip tint. Go in for a nice rich chocolaty
brown like the’ MAC Lip glass collection’ or a shocking pink from MAC’s ‘crème
sheen glass’ collection.
Night out with the
ladies can excuse you with some blusher, but don’t brush your cheeks with some
dark pink powdery blushers. Use a cream blush instead, there are many in the market.
Splurge onto them! Something that fits our pockets could be the Maybelline
crème mousse or else try the NYX- Rouge cream blusher or maybe the Maxfactor
crème blush.
Smokey eyes
While summer breaks
upon its golden glow, winters reminds us hail stone, longer nights, darker
shades. Something like greys and blacks. This reminds us of jus one thing -
dark Smokey eyes. This look is epic!

Red Lips:

Natural Tips –
Nature best gift to you this winter.
Use rose water with glycerin in equal proportions. Rose
water gives a stunning glow and glycerin gives that extra moisture to your
skin. Making it soft supple and glowy!
Do not let hot water ruin your skin. Hot water can make your
skin extremely dry. Don’t want to look like a half - peeled fruit right? Go in
for Luke warm water. It’s the best and very relaxing.
