My Poem

Sometimes.... Sometimes you find so easily in the dark Sometimes You cant see yourself even in the bright light That’s when days get darker And nights get bright Sometimes You can’t see your own Reflection even when its right below Sometimes you feel you’re drowning Though the water is so shallow Sometimes you hear nothing even When the voices are so loud Sometimes you feel so deserted Even in middle of a crowd Sometimes you feel the need of Someone but no one’s around You die to be with someone But you hear not a single sound Sometimes you wanna break all the barriers Sometimes you want to let lose But life doesn’t work the way you want it to You don’t get what you choose Sometimes in the deepest of ocean You feel you are safe Sometimes while walking on the road You feel someone’s digging your grave Sometimes you wish you could handle the cycle of Deaths sorrows and everything bad that happens to one’s life But god is the but...

What do your facial moles say?

Image
Ever wondered these lil dark spots would have a meaning to their existence. It may be jus sound like a myth or a  superstition , but as far as I have observed it has a touch of truth to it.   Let me begin with.... -People  having moles below their lips, coz that’s me. It is apparently said that they are very romantic and emotional. But truth has it they are very horny as well as insecure (hmmm surely sounds true) -People will poles on the bridge of their nose, close to the forehead are said to be very intelligent ( what’s that a symbol for intellect ;) -People with moles just below their nose are said to be free-willed. Quiet  a free bird. -People with moles on their cheeks are of imaginative nature and are said to be very understanding as well.  People with moles just above the lips are quiet the thinkers and intelligent too.

Bel Pesto - Review!

Image
Taking true advantage of 1 st May- Labour day, I decided to venture out with my hubby . So, as usual ; feeling lazy to travel; we decided to explore a close-by restaurant by the name of Bel pesto Italian, as it sound, the logo has an Italian flag with a black tag with the name . How cool and Italian is that? The restaurant had a vintage and vibrant feel to it.  The lower level boasted white washed walls with brown wooden chairs and tables; sans upholstery giving it a very homey and hip feel. All the vintage pieces of art really added a charm to the place, like an old age Radio set , a wired telephone with an art book kept besides. It was like we have walked into someone’s little private space.  There were blown up real life images, which bedecked the place. We sat upstairs, on the upper level. Similar décor, just the tables and chairs were white painted and it had vibrant colorful couches adorned with screen printed cushion adding to t...

Japanese Vegan Dining @Mr Genki's

Image
Inquisitive to try ‘Mock Meat/Faux meat,' which is anything that is a substitute of meat but 100% pure veg in its form. And some just gross out on the thought of Faux Meat….’What??? So this Mock meats mainly consists of ingredients like Tofu, Mushroom, Aubergine, gluten – wheat preparations and soy protein or food processed using soy dough churned out from Soy beans.  First of all I want to say it is lip-smacking. Faux-meat is chewy, succulent exactly the way your meat/chicken would taste; rather better! A month ago;on a spree to find a different eatery, my hubby and I went out of the way. And foodies always need different, better and more varieties to tickle their taste-buds…   Mr Genki was this Japanese restaurant serving Mock/faux-meat; the pure vegetarian Japanese restaurant. The restaurant was basic, very simple and quaint. As we entered we had to take off our shoes and get into one of their slippers that felt nice…like at home! So then we went ahea...

Pimp your Lashes!

Image
Wanna try something new today? Make you lashes look sharp and curly without using a Mascara. Admit it! Black mascara everyday is not our thing. Smudging and stuff can lead to dark under-eyes the next day. Yes! Invest in transparent mascara, but even better, wear no Mascara Try this! Step 1: Take a lash curler. Curl your lashes till they are lifted and stand out. Step 2 : Take your normal Vaseline petroleum jelly, very small amount. Rub it onto your lashes using yout  forefinger and thumb   A sweet dewy look, not too bold for everyday and because of the jelly texture, it keeps it firm. !Your now good to go

Love urself!

Today I practiced Reiki after ages....and I feel like an aura of fresh energy has surrounded me ! I miss the days I used to practice it regularly, when I had alot of time in my hand. Since we are so caught up with our lives, busy drinking, working, over eating, blah blah....It's much important to make peace with oneself! The way a fresh brewed coffee can boost you, a good session of yoga...reiki can make you feel just awesome....I'm not spiritual, but I genuinely love myself! For all my friends who lead a similar life, your body needs love. Just the way you make a lemon juice to remove the hangover, your body needs a wee bit  more attention than you give. I may sound old, but when I see my body reacting to certain things, I think it is old ...lol But how many of us really do the breathing exercise every morning, first thing. Maybe if you smoke a hukka, it needs a Little clearing later on :) I practice Yoga, Reiki because it literally op...

The Zesty Basil Leaf!

Image
Living for over 7 months in Thailand, I know somewhat about the ingredients that go in the Thai food.  Well, the cuisine is extensive, but to cut it short, just like Coriander (Kotmir) is to us, basil leaves is to the Thais.  Basil, which is originally from India, but u must’ve experienced the flavor in dishes with pesto sauce.  But that’s when its chutneyfied into pesto cream. It’s like getting the flavor of sprinkled coriander on food and then getting it in the green chutney. Too much comparison…it’s starting to bore me now. Coming to the point. I love any dishes with basil leaves. A very popular dish in Thailand, and easy as hell to cook. Over here people have it with pork, beef or chicken…but we need a veggie option here. So I just replaced chicken, beef and pork with mushrooms, mashed tofu or French beans. In Bangkok the dishes are called as Kapao Moo – fried basil leaf with pork Kapao Kaai – fried Basil leaf with chicken Kapao Nua – fried basil leaf...
