Affordable Sleeping Mask – CUCUMBER & ALOE @ MINIMONO BANGKOK




The other day I went to MINIMONO, the affordable store in Bangkok with everything priced at 60 Baht under one roof. I walked in with an intention to buy the quirky yet cheap products, but I landed up with my eyes popped out at this sleeping mask priced at 80 baht.
A sleeping mask this cheap? No one would risk their skin, but I am here to experiment and share my views. Also, a sleeping mask with Aloe Vera and Cucumber. What could really go wrong with both the healing ingredients.
So firstly, this product has the same fragrance as your HERBAL FACIALS/CLEAN UPS in Indian beauty parlors gave you. Oh how I used to love it, that earthy smell.
The texture – who are the kidding? It’s not a mask mask. It’s a light-textured cream that can be applied as desired. As in, you can mask it or play around with the consistency on your face with a handful of it. Since it is feature- light, not greasy and not thick as all these MASKS claim to be.

It’s a soothing, relaxing and mildly fragrant FACE CREAM named as a mask. Infact, I’ve been using it a lot – day and night. I felt it made my skin smoother and softer. Your skin troubles definitely won’t vanish.

But it will replenish your skin and at least you wake up looking nice and refreshed. I mean there’s a nice dewy glow on your skin. Like a CHEEK BULB GLOW – when the apple of your cheek glow everytime you smile ( I like to call it cheek bulb)
There’s another flavor to it – Tofu and Honey. Which I am sure will be more effective and better since it has oxidant rich ingredient like Honey and anti-aging ingredient like Tofu – Go buy it if you’ve already felt the taste now!

Chamomile Tea, try it!

This must be my first ever cup of chamomile tea. Usually my office pantry stocks a variety of Twinings teas, ranging from green tea, to chamomile to Lemon and more... I, being a complete green tea drinker, usually never land up trying any of the other varieties.
