Mr Jones' Orphanage - A sweet tour within Bangkok!

#dessert #Bangkoksweet #patisserie Mr. Jones orphanage If you are wondering what the ‘orphanage’ stands for, look around for the stuffed soft toys all over the place, also known as the Orphans of Mr . Jones. ( As read on the website) How would it be living your childhood memory all over again? Having woken up in a huge massive doll house surrounded by cute soft toys and wooden train tracks above your head. Sounds like a dream, eh? That’s exactly what I came across when I visited this place with my mom. A coffee shop and a patisserie housing a wide range of pastries right from mouth-watering chocolate mud pie to Banana and caramel waffles. Before I even get started on the extensive menu, the wooden doll house is a treat to your eyes right from the time you enter. Mr. Jones Orphanage is located in Thong Lo Soi 13 and on the 2nd level of Siam Centre shopping mall. I however visited the smaller orphanage cake shop in Siam Centre.  Constr...

Garnier Sakura white - Review!

Image
#pinkishglow #Garnier  Thailand is extremely good with it’s on- ground advertising   & promotional techniques . If a brand needs to be recognized, they will leave no stone unturned to make sure, it is recognized. They are amazing with marketing and can lure passer by’s very easily, specially someone like me, who is a shopaholic , moreover loves freebies, well anyone does, don’t we? Deriving its name from the National flower of Japan – Sakura, which are pink and white blossoming flowers. Something like these ! “The promo...

I, being a complete green tea drinker, usually never land up trying any of the other varieties. But since I had bit of stomach upset this morning , it suddenly dawned on me, I need something milder and little more soothing than a green tea or a coffee. After having 3 cups of chamomile one after the other, I still feel so light on my stomach and so calm in my head. Though nothing like a kick from the morning coffee, I must say it has amazing soothing properties. Look for the…..   After – taste it leaves in your mouth, it reminds me somehow of  soaked and peeled almonds, that’s one reason I couldn’t stop drinking it.As a child I loved the almonds soaked overnight, I still do, but I am lazy and forgetful, so I need my mommy to do it :D Aiding Sleep They say chamomile is good...
