Carabeau Spa lightening Salt in Orange


We usually are of the opinion that we do not really need to invest in a body scrub. I have friends who will buy body washes, soaps, bath bombs and incase they get a tan from swimming or the sun, they run to a beauty parlour or a spa for a body scrub.
All you get is a one-time rigorous scrub in a soothing environment and a body massage to top it all. But do you think that one time is enough to get the tan out? Nope.
So, every once a week I like using a scrub. Its like taking that extra time to shower. Scrubbing basically gets rid of the dead skill cells and doing it more frequently will remove it all! Basically, it exfoliates the skin, removing the dullness and giving it a nice radiance. And you know what? Exfoliating the skin makes the skin softer, shinier. Just like a pedicure – you get nice soft feet afterwards

So, here’s my absolute fav body scrub of all time.  Carebeau Spa Lightening Salt. It is a perfect blend of sweet orange essential oil and granules of salt which is slightly coarse like a genuine scrub with delicious smell of oranges. The texture unlike other scrub is not drying or firm. Its nice and loose and you can slip it in your fingers and scrub scrub scrub.
It lathers well, so little goes a long way. On the jar it says enriched with Vitamin C, E and AHA- it had once become a skincare hero ingredient. Just like the Hyaluronic acid is now.
So, AHA is an excellent ingredient for exfoliation and helps with hyper pigmentation and red marks. See a sunburn patch on your skin – this might be of a little help for sure. Vitamin C helped lighten and brighten the skin and Vitamin E is excellent source of hydration.
Overall it a Bathroom shelf must-have. A luxurious body scrub with a whooping quantity of 700 ml and wait for it – at a price of 150 baht. You heard that!

Affordable Sleeping Mask – CUCUMBER & ALOE @ MINIMONO BANGKOK

The other day I went to MINIMONO, the affordable store in Bangkok with everything priced at 60 Baht under one roof. I walked in with an intention to buy the quirky yet cheap products, but I landed up with my eyes popped out at this sleeping mask priced at 80 baht. A sleeping mask this cheap? Chamomile Tea, try it!

This must be my first ever cup of chamomile tea. Usually my office pantry stocks a variety of Twinings teas, ranging from green tea, to chamomile to Lemon and more... I, being a complete green tea drinker, usually never land up trying any of the other varieties. But since I had bit of stomach upset this morning , it suddenly dawned on me, I need something milder and little more soothing than a green tea or a coffee.
